Commitment to safety and outstanding patient care.
Always ready to respond when it matters most.
Our patient advocates are standing by.
For over four decades, Air Methods has been dedicated to emergency air medical transport, focusing on patient quality of care and safety in aviation. Air Methods delivers lifesaving care to more than 100,000 patients per year, and we only respond when a physician or a first-responder calls us.
When we are asked to deploy, we answer the call and do everything in our power to save a life.
Air Methods partners with healthcare facilities across the nation and each partnership is tailored to the needs of the facility.
We have agreements with some of the largest health insurance companies in the country. In-network patients only pay applicable co-pays or deductibles.
We constantly work to develop and strengthen relationships with the communities we serve. Our crews participate in local events and provide clinical and safety education to local agencies and critical access hospitals.
HSHS Rescue Flight is an advanced critical care air medical service owned and operated by Air Methods. Our home base is at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Highland, providing time-saving high-level medical and trauma care to surrounding communities. Rescue One's highly trained flight crew consists of a pilot, flight nurse, and a flight paramedic. Top-level patient care and safety are our two highest priorities. Ultimately, we are here for you.
