ARCH has been committed to providing essential and lifesaving services to the Missouri and Illinois region for over 40 years. Established in 1979 by St. Louis University (SLU) Medical Center staffers, Air Methods acquired ARCH in 2000 and has continued the program’s expansion and excellence in air medical operations. ARCH provides advanced clinical capabilities, including Impella device therapy, ECMO, and critical care for a wide range of patients. The program operates a fleet of advanced airframes, including the Bell 407 and EC130, ensuring mission efficiency and reliability. ARCH is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS), reflecting its commitment to the highest standards of care.
