LifeNet 8-1 is based at the Hagerstown Regional Airport, in Washington County, Maryland, less then a mile from the Pennsylvania border. A pediatric and adult critical care transport service, placed in the community where the services are needed the most. We provide inter-facility as well as accident scene response to any state. Our aircraft operates 24 hours a day, providing service to South Central PA, West Virginia, and Maryland. We frequently transport patients to York Hospital, Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland, Children’s National Medical Center, UPMC hospitals in Pittsburgh, and Hershey Medical Center; however we are able to transport to any receiving facility. Life Net 8-1 is an accredited service by The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS).
