SkyLife provides essential lifesaving air medical services in central California. Established in 1991, SkyLife operates with EC145 and B407 rotor-wing aircraft ensuring safe and efficient transport. During missions, highly trained medical teams care for patients with advanced interventions designed to significantly improve outcomes. These include specialized cardiac support, such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) therapy, Impella device therapy, and ECMO which assist in managing severe cardiac conditions. SkyLife also carries fetal-toco monitors to support maternal and fetal emergencies. Additional capabilities include advanced trauma care such as blood product administration, advanced airway management, cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, vasoactive medication administration and titration, and advanced surgical procedures.
